I think I have settled on a quilt pattern to make with my sister. Over the next couple of days I will share some other ideas I had for one.  I used the software “123Quilt” to design them. There will definitely be updated pictures as it is made.

April 21-Day 8

April 20th - Day 7

Tomatoes and Lettuce, planted April 10th. Not too bad of growth for under 10 days!

April 19th - Day 6

April 18th - Day 5

One day I’ll bake a cake as good as my sister Arlis does! She decorated it too! WOW!  It was big enough to share with the two campers who came by canoe to camp that night, as well as another family of three who came fishing the next day! Arlis said the flowers, made of gum paste, will last a while, so I think I will save a couple of buds for my next birthday!

April 17 - Day 4 - Birthday Camp-out Pictures!

Charlie, Lena, Barney, Lori, Arlis, Xyla, Chris & Rhyanna stopped by (my sis and the kids stayed the night). The weather was great on my birthday, but chilly that night – down to 3 degrees that evening in the trailer. The wind picked up on the 15th, and we decided that it was time to head back to our cushy beds! I wouldn’t have done anything different for my birthday!

Today I turned 50! This blog is to honor this special year, and be a glimpse of my life to look back and smile at in the future. My goal is to post a picture a day. I hope you enjoy the journey with me!

April 12th, two sleeps!

Time is moving so fast! Two more sleeps until I turn 50! This blog will be mostly a pictures that I've taken, although there may be a few drawings or craft projects thrown in for inspiration too! Unless noted in their caption, all are by me!  The first four days are pictures from last year, as I will be celebrating my big day out at Twin Lake! I'll make sure to take some pictures there and share them when I get back!
